Purpose and legal basis of processing
The data collected with the application for membership of the association and during its validity are processed for the management of the membership relationship and for the access to the reserved area on the AIIP website. The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party (art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b.).
The e.mail address may be used to send the newsletter and communications relating to the association’s initiatives, without prejudice to the right of the person concerned to object at any time to such sending pursuant to Article 130, paragraph 4 of Legislative Decree 196/03.
Length of storage
The data collected are kept for 10 years after the termination of the association relationship.
Data recipients
Contact data may be communicated to members.
Third parties who process personal data on behalf of AIIP, e.g. for IT support services, are Data Processors and follow specific instructions.
Rights of the data subject
The data subject has the right to request from the data controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data and the restriction of processing. In certain cases, he/she also has the right to object to the processing of personal data. He/she may exercise these rights by contacting the Data Controller. Finally, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
